There are many ways to get involved at Second Unitarian.  We encourage you to follow your passion.  Start with something that excites you and helps you get to know the members of our community.  We hear over and over again that once people participate in a small group activity or class, they feel connected and are well on their way to a deeper connection to our community. 

Suggested first steps to getting involved….

• Regularly attend Sunday worship and commit to meeting at least one new person each week during coffee hour.
• Be in the know…sign up to receive the weekly 2U E-News and monthly newsletter by contacting our Membership Coordinator at secondunitarian@att.net.
• Join the Young Adults for a Circle Worship.
• Sign up for a class - as an added bonus, you’ll immediately know at least five people at coffee hour!
• Join the GLBTQ Group for brunch after church.
• Bond over pulling weeds or painting a classroom - join us for a Buildings & Grounds day (typically meet on the first Saturday of each month).   Contact our Business Manager at office_2u@att.net or 773-549-0260 ext. 10 for more information.
• Join the Retiree Group for lunch.
• Participate in one of our social justice activities.
• Sign up to host coffee hour on Sunday.  This is a one time volunteer opportunity.  There is a sign up sheet at the “What’s Happening” table behind the sanctuary or you can contact our Membership Coordinator for more information.
