Why does membership matter? Because you matter.  Make a commitment to yourself that you will take time each week for reflection, fellowship, gratitude and service.  See how it begins to change you.   Read and listen to testimonials from members of the Second Unitarian community and see how church has affected their lives.

The path to membership in a church community is different for each person; we are here to help as you make this important decision.  If you have been participating in the life of the church and want to learn more about becoming a member, contact secondunitarian@att.net.

Our Membership 101 class is meant for people who are trying to discern whether or not Unitarian Universalism is right for them.  It also fulfills one of the requirements for membership, which is attending an orientation class.  We describe the historical and theological roots of Unitarian Universalism, discuss the priorities and values of Second Unitarian Church and offer a time for your own personal reflection on what you are looking for in a church community.

For more information, class times or to sign up, contact secondunitarian@att.net .

If you are looking for a way to meet other people and explore some of the values of Second Unitarian  Church, we encourage you to participate in small group ministry.   The groups are led by members of the church, held in people’s homes or at church and everyone is welcome.
