Visitor Information
We hope that you will decide to worship with us. We have two services on Sunday at 10:00 and 11:30 a.m. Most people will be dressed in “professional casual” but the clothes aren’t really our main focus. If you have children, read more about what to expect.
There will be music and singing, a time for quiet reflection and a sermon from our minister or the guest preacher.

There is also a time in the service when people are invited to silently light candles for a concern or celebration in their life.

There is a collection taken during the service. The Sunday collection is shared with a not for profit organization each week so you may hear some information about that group’s social justice work in the community. After the service, please stay and ask questions. Take a Welcome Packet, so that you can learn about any upcoming activities. There is a social time with coffee, tea and snacks after both services.

Additionally, there are some regularly scheduled events that are open to everyone, whether it’s your 1st or your 101st visit:
First Sundays: Young Adult Circle Worship 11:45-12:45 p.m. in Fleishman Hall. This is a less formal worship, focused on personal reflection and sharing.
Fourth Sundays: GLBTQ Brunch (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered, Queer or Questioning) The group meets after the service at 11:45 a.m. in the Palmer Room and then walks to a neighborhood restaurant.
Before or after you visit please feel free to contact our Membership Coordinator, Lisa Todd at secondunitarian@att.net or 773-549-0260 ext.11 if you have any specific questions that you would like answered. We look forward to meeting you!
