Music is an integral and transformative part of our worship services. You will hear various styles of music during worship, including contemporary, traditional, gospel, world, folk and classical. Our music serves to enhance and bring to life the message you hear on Sunday mornings.

Much of the music at Second Unitarian is provided by musicians from the church community. We believe that committing to learn, rehearse, and share music with the congregation, as our Choir and Folk Ensemble do regularly, is a spiritual practice, not just a function of the church.

The choir rehearses around the piano in the sanctuary on Tuesday evenings at 7:30. For more information, contact music director Marianne Parker through our online form – or just show up. All voices are welcome (tenor and bass voices, too!) and prior experience is *not* required.

Whether you can join an existing 2U ensemble, or are interested in putting together your own group or performing solo, we are grateful for your musical gifts. Contact our music director, Marianne Parker, through our online form.
