DRUUMM Meeting

  • 2U Library 656 West Barry Avenue Chicago, IL, 60657 United States (map)

Diverse & Revolutionary Unitarian Universalist Multicultural Ministries (DRUUMM) is a sacred place for Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC)—where we share our ideas, and thoughts and support each other’s mental and spiritual growth in a community of love.

Our gatherings take place on the 4th Sunday of each month, just before the service, from 9:30am to approximately 10:20am in the 2U Library. Our next meeting is Sunday, February 25th. If you identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or a Person of Color, we invite you to participate in this empowering community. Contact Berlinda Browne for more info.

We want to invite all white-identifying people at 2U to join the DRUUMM Allies and Accomplices Group. This group will work to build anti-racist community with a focus on challenging racial bias within our congregation. This is a needed opportunity for white people to build up collective efforts that will make our congregation more welcoming to all. Our first meeting is on Sunday, April 28th at 9:30AM in Fleishman Hall. Contact Pip Paris for details.
