An Invitation to The People’s Agenda
Uniting to Defend Our Rights and Build Our Future!
In a time of unprecedented attacks on civil and human rights, we invite you to join us in this one-day conference that will bring together diverse faith traditions, community leaders, activists, organizers and community members from across the midwest to address the urgent issues facing immigrants, workers, and marginalized communities. This gathering will create a vital space for dialogue, exchange, and strategic collaboration, fostering unity and action in the face of adversity.
Through panels, thematic discussions, and interactive sessions, we will explore challenges and opportunities of this pivotal moment. Major topics of discussion will include, but are not limited to, the role of faith communities in defense of human and civil rights; the role of U.S. foreign policy as it relates to immigration; attacks on public services and the role of labor; exchanging strategies for local and regional action around coalition building, and much more.
This is a significant and urgent moment in history, where our collective action will determine our present and our future. Our strategic and principled unity, and our ability to organize and mobilize our communities is what will guarantee a future rooted in dignity, equity, and solidarity for all.
