Lots of new faces at 2U these days – lots of new members! Whoop de doo! Scott Luke, Suzanne Miller, and Chris White are three new members who shared their get-acquainted answers to some get-acquainted questions.
Meet Scott Luke
Q: Are you an early riser? Late sleeper?
A: Used to be a night owl, but now I am an early bird.
Q: How long have you lived in Chicago?
A: Been in Chicago since 2004. I love how it’s a big city with small town feel. Love all the different diverse neighborhoods.
Q: Do you like your job?
A: I was a professional musical theatre, TV, commercial, and voice-over actor for 16 years before going to grad school to study organizational psychology. Now I work in change management and learning consulting. It’s interesting. Lots of ambiguous problems to solve every day.
Q: Do you have roommates? Who cooks? Who does the dishes?
A: I live with my wife Suzanne and our two cats, Jerome T. Mousenik and Charlie Girl. When Sue and I first got together, we agreed that she would cook, and I would clean.
Q: What’s your number one comfort food?
A: Give me sushi every day for the rest of my life.
Meet Suzanne Miller

Q: Do you have roommates? Who cooks? Who does the dishes?
A: I live with my husband, Scott Luke – I cook, and he does the dishes!
Q: What was your favorite book when you were a kid?
A:My favorite book when I was a kid was Harriet the Spy. I love this book because she loves to read, and is nosy, but also because she loves her friends and neighborhood.
Q: Do you like your job?
A: I am a massage therapist. It’s a newer thing for me; I’ve been licensed for 2 years, after a long career in theatre fundraising. I love it because I help people in a quiet, intentional space.
Q: Can you drive a stick shift?
A: I can (and do) drive a stick shift! When we bought our car in 2018, we deliberately bought a Honda Civic 6-speed manual transmission.
