Pride Fest 2026
We need volunteers for this year's Pride Fest, on June 20th and 21st!
Last year was 2U's first year having a table at Pride Fest (on North Halsted), and it was a huge success! We had a lot of fun spreading the word about how friendly and welcoming of a church 2U is, added people to our newsletter, and got new visitors and newsletter subscribers!
We also learned a lot. Like, that giving out free ice, water and lemonade will bring people to the table, even people who were otherwise shy about saying hi. Once they approach for a drink, they are happy to chat about who we are.

We need people to be at the table, greeting visitors, as well as people bringing in water, ice, and lemonade (with a wagon and a cooler). We'll also need people for loading in and setting up on Saturday morning, and tearing down and loading out on Sunday night.
