What's New in the 2U Library

Hello from the word nerds on the library committee! We wanted to update you about a few events and 2U library happenings.

First, we have some new books! We have purchased the YA Afrofantasy modern classics, THE LEGACY OF ORÏSHA series by Tomi Adeyemi. We are also expanding our collections on crafts, gardening, and other hobbies. So, if you are looking for a new way to create, be sure to check out what we have.

Second, we have some Silent Bookclubs scheduled for this summer. A Silent Bookclub is a chance to get away from it all and read in peace with your fellow booklovers for an hour or so. Bring your own book or pull from our shelves. All books (paper, ebooks, audio, comic) are welcome. Read for a time and stay and talk after if you'd like. And there will be cookies! Dates are July 12th and August 9th from around 12 PM to 1:30ish.

And third, just a reminder that dedicated library hours are always the second and fourth Sunday in a month, after services. While you are always welcome to look through and check out our books, these times are specifically scheduled to allow time to focus on your interests.

And before I forget, people often ask about donating books to the library. You are always welcome to donate gently loved books to our collection but please be aware that we might not keep everything that is given to us. We have limited space and specific needs. So, if you are not sure, feel free to ask before bringing something in.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me at jenniferkronkLCPC@gmail.com.  Take care and happy reading!
