Our mission is to make everyone who comes to 2U feel welcome and comfortable. We do that with a smile and friendliness.
Before the worship service, we fill the Chalice with fuel and light the main candles. Along with people at the Welcome Table, we give newcomers a brief overview of where things are located (Sanctuary, restrooms, Coffee Hour, etc.); we pass out Orders of Service and hymnals; collect Orders of Service afterwards for recycling; and during Coffee Hour, we make a point to talk to newcomers and try to introduce them to a few people if they aren’t already chatting with someone.

Contact Mary-Helen Steindler at church on Sundays with your contact info, or text or call her at 773-919-2083. Email works too (maryhelenis@yahoo.com), although sometimes she misses them. It’s best to text or call or see her in church.
Meeting Regularity:
The best part of this committee is…there are no meetings! We just sign up for a turn to be a Greeter online.
