Roman Putnam

Roman Putnam (he/him) is an AV Digital Producer with a passion for building seamless, engaging audio-visual experiences to support the community. Originally from Chicago’s northern suburbs and now based in the West Loop, his path into audio began through Twitch live-streaming, where an initial curiosity quickly grew into a deeper fascination with audio engineering, tech, and the craft behind the scenes.

That interest has developed into a strong technical focus on live production, audio optimization, and troubleshooting all AV environments. Known for a calm, solutions-oriented approach, he brings a steady presence to technically complex settings, with a particular interest in refining workflows and elevating the quality and consistency of sound.

Outside of his work, he enjoys PC building, exploring new music, photography, and being a general AV gear-head. At home, his cat Taz can often be found nearby, supervising whatever project is underway. He is excited to contribute his skills to the Second Unitarian Church community while continuing to grow in a collaborative environment.
