Actual July to June Results

  • Total Revenue: $504,520.50

  • Total Expenses: $504,520.50

  • Net Operating Income $-0- (excludes special $70,000 donation used to pay off mortgage and $50,000 endowment received)

June Tentative Results

The board approved $2,000 expense to go toward future sabbatical costs and any remaining net operating income (other than special donations) to go toward future major maintenance costs.  These two additional expenses brought our tentative net income from $2,396 to $-0-.  There is one potential change that will be resolved within the next month.

Our revenue exceeded budget by $29,200.  Pledges are approximately $5,100 above expected.  Our rental income ended the year strong exceeding budget by $6,400-much thanks to Brandon for his management of our rentals!  Our strong collection plate receipts, successful fundraisers and a generous $5,000 donation in recognition of our wonderful youth and OWL programs also contributed to the strong revenue results.  RaiseRight income and earnings on our LE Fitts fund were the primary revenue categories that were less than expected.

Utility costs exceeded budget by $5,500 for the year.  We also incurred higher payroll cost in June to pay Rev. Jason for his final vacation time earned, and earlier in the year for office computers, a new sound mixer and water damage costs.  These expenses were partially offset by early payoff of our mortgage and donated cleaning service by a member for part of the year.

Major Maintenance Project Update

Expected costs for remaining capital campaign projects include approximately $20,000 to install a hardscaping base for trash carts and $6,000-$12,000 for landscaping and $12,000 work on the windows in the Loft.  Other major maintenance projects include sewer work and flooring for part of the basement and for the stairs.

We are still relying on capital campaign pledges to help cover these projects.  Thanks to all who have fully paid their pledge.  If you still owe amounts, we greatly appreciate your payments.

Respectfully submitted,

Diane Sander, 2U Treasurer
