Request Support and Sign Up to Help

An essential part of our community is our commitment to offer care to one another. We have aPastoralCareTeam that meets monthly to track requests for support. This team includes Andrea Redfearin, Kristi Anderson, Tanya Surawicz, and Barbara Sciacchitano. If you are in need of pastoral care support, please email pastoralcare@secondunitarian.org. The team, along with Rev. Jason, will receive this request. Some potential requests include: phone calls for emotional/spiritual support, one time support with light housekeeping, rides to appointments, in-person visits, meal or grocery delivery. If you have other requests, you can certainly make them and thePastoralCareTeam will do their best to coordinate or let you know that the request is beyond their capacity. 

YOU can sign up to be one of the people who provides care to people in our congregation. Just over 25 members of the congregation have signed up to provide this support. When the Pastoral Care Team receives a request, the information is shared via email with those who may be willing to take the request on. To share what you might be willing to do, please fill out the form HERE. Please consider joining in with this effort. We can only take care of our community when we share the responsibility.
