  • The payment schedule for rental fees is structured as follows: a non-refundable deposit of one-third of the total amount is due upon scheduling, with the remaining two-thirds payable before the intended use.

    To facilitate payment of rental fees, please navigate to the provided link and select "Space Sharing" as the designated giving option. Alternative payment arrangements may be accommodated upon request.

    It's important to note that rental fees do not encompass expenses related to the technology coordinator, building supervisor, or custodian. These additional services are integrated into the two-thirds rental fee. The Building Supervisor service is priced at $20 per hour during the event, inclusive of half an hour before and after the event. The Custodian fee amounts to $200, while the Technology Coordinator fee is set at $25 per hour during the event, covering half an hour each for setup and restoration to the prior condition.

    In our commitment to fostering inclusivity and accessibility for legitimate organizations and individuals, we strive to minimize financial barriers associated with building use. As part of this endeavor, rental fees are flexible and can be adjusted downwards by up to 50%.

  • Second Unitarian Church is committed to maintaining an accessible and welcoming environment for all. Our building includes an ADA-compliant east entrance with a ramp, as well as an interior elevator that provides access to multiple levels of the church.

    Please be advised that rentals are restricted to the hours between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding these time constraints.

  • Renters are kindly asked to provide Certificates of Insurance, with Second Unitarian Church listed as an additional insured party. For guidance on obtaining these documents, individuals are encouraged to reach out to their insurance agents. Additionally, a quick Google search for “event insurance” will bring up several short-term policy options designed specifically for one-time events, many of which can be secured quickly and at a relatively low cost.

  • Piano use in both the loft and sanctuary is complimentary with your rental.

    For any technological requirements such as TVs, PA systems, or cameras, the presence of the 2U technology coordinator is required. An additional fee of $35 per hour applies during the event, which includes half an hour for setup and another half-hour for restoring the space to its prior state.

  • The Custodian fee of $200 covers comprehensive services, including event setup and breakdown, garbage collection, and thorough cleaning of the space following rentals.
